Who Are We?
The Milford Garden Club is comprised of individuals who share a
love of plants and gardening, civic beautification and conservation
of resources. The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month
(except January) at one o'clock to share experiences, plan events,
expand their horticultural knowledge, and hear authoritative guest
speakers.
Community activities include planting and maintaining myriad planters
and flower boxes throughout the village of Milford, maintenance
of the Ethel Barckley Park on East Ann Street, Remembrance Place
and the Dimmick Cemetery on West Ann Street, planting and maintaining
the three triangles that serve as points of welcome along the various
roads entering Milford Borough, and the organizing of the annual
Secret Garden Tour which allows friends and neighbors as well as
visitors to Milford to enjoy the lovely private gardens of the area.
The Secret Garden Tour is the Club's major fundraiser, providing
monies for the various activities of the Club as well as funding
for an annual scholarship awarded at Delaware Valley High School.
Plant sales also provide funds.
Luncheons and other informal gathering allow friendships to grow
and blossom along with plans for future events. The Milford Garden
Club has been growing and flourishing since 1937, providing benefits
not only for the senses, but the soul as well.
Come grow with Milford Garden Club. Join us! Information about
